I’ve always been confused by the belief that liking sex or having lots of sex somehow means you have no self-respect. Why? If I like puppies and make a point to play with puppies on a regular basis, or if I like baking cakes and so bake a lot of cakes, no one questions whether I respect myself. If I’m having sex because I find it pleasurable and fun, then why would you suddenly think that I don’t like or respect myself? Your personal hang-ups about sex being dirty and gross and wrong? Um, yeah. That’s your issue, not mine.
My sense of self-worth does not come from my genitalia. If you think I have no value beyond how often I have sex and how many people I have sex with, then that’s clearly because you’re more interested in viewing me as a trophy for a future husband and not as a human being. It has nothing to do with how I actually feel about myself or what my value as a person truly is.

“Real women have curves” has to be one of the most close-minded things I’ve ever heard. Every woman is a real woman. Thank god this isn’t a thing anymore.
